Subscribing from Apple Calendar
Use your ICS feed link to add Park Bench events to Apple Calendar.
Last updated 2026-03-03
If you use Apple Calendar (on iPhone, iPad, or Mac), you can subscribe to your Park Bench calendar using an ICS feed. This is a one-way sync — your Park Bench events appear in Apple Calendar as a read-only subscription.
How to set it up
- Go to Settings > Calendar Sync in Park Bench
- Find your ICS feed link and copy it
- On your iPhone: go to Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Add Account > Other > Add Subscribed Calendar
- Paste the ICS link and tap Next
- Choose a name and color for the calendar, then tap Save
Your Park Bench events will now appear alongside your other calendars in Apple Calendar.
How it works
- One-way sync — Events from Park Bench appear in Apple Calendar, but events you add in Apple Calendar do not sync back to Park Bench
- Auto-refresh — Apple Calendar checks for updates periodically (usually every few hours)
- Park Bench events included — Events you create in Park Bench (manually or via chat) appear in the feed. Events imported from Google Calendar are not included, since you already have those in Google
Compared to Google Calendar sync
The Google Calendar integration is a full two-way sync — changes in either app appear in the other. The Apple Calendar subscription is read-only. If you need two-way sync, connect Google Calendar instead.
Tips
- You can also use this ICS link with any calendar app that supports subscriptions (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.)
- To remove the subscription, go to your device's calendar account settings and delete it
