All-day events
How all-day events display and sync across calendars.
Last updated 2026-02-25
All-day events are for things that don't have a specific start and end time — birthdays, school holidays, deadlines, or multi-day trips.
Creating all-day events
When adding an event, toggle the All day switch. You won't need to specify start and end times — just the date.
Via the assistant, you can say things like:
- "Add a school holiday on February 17th, all day"
- "Emma's birthday is March 5th"
How they display
All-day events appear at the top of the day on your home screen with an "All day" label instead of a time. They're visually distinct from timed events.
Syncing
All-day events sync correctly with Google Calendar in both directions. An all-day event created in Google Calendar appears as all-day in Park Bench, and vice versa.
Multi-day events
For events spanning multiple days (like a vacation), you can create an all-day event with a start date and end date. It will appear on each day of the range.
