Managing assistant memory
View, edit, or delete what the assistant remembers.
Last updated 2026-02-25
You're always in control of what the assistant remembers about your family. View, edit, or delete any memory from the Memory settings page.
Viewing memories
- Go to Settings (person icon in the bottom nav)
- Tap Memory
- Your memories are organized by category (Preferences, Routines, Details, etc.)
Each memory shows its content and which family member it's about (or "Family" if it applies to everyone).
Editing a memory
Tap the edit icon (pencil) on any memory to update its content. This is useful if something has changed — for example, if a child's interests have shifted.
Deleting a memory
Tap the delete icon (trash) on any memory to remove it permanently. The assistant will no longer reference that information.
Adding memories yourself
You don't have to wait for the assistant to save things. On the Memory page:
- Suggested prompts appear as cards — tap one to fill in the answer (e.g., "What are Emma's allergies?")
- Add your own — Create a custom memory about anything
- You can dismiss suggested prompts you don't find useful
Tips
- Memory items can be scoped to a specific child, a specific parent, or the whole family
- Deleting a memory doesn't affect past conversations — it just prevents the assistant from using that information going forward
