The Park Bench assistant understands natural language — just type what you need. Here are some examples to get you started.

Adding events

  • "Add Emma's dentist appointment on Thursday at 3pm"
  • "Soccer practice every Tuesday and Thursday at 4"
  • "Birthday party at Brooklyn Bridge Park Saturday from 2 to 5"
  • "School concert next Friday at 6:30pm at PS 234"
  • "Add a playdate with the Johnsons on Sunday afternoon"

Checking your schedule

  • "What do we have this weekend?"
  • "Are we free on March 15th?"
  • "When is Emma's next dentist appointment?"
  • "What's happening tomorrow?"
  • "Show me next week"

Changing events

  • "Move soccer practice to 4:30 this week"
  • "Cancel the dentist appointment"
  • "Change the birthday party to Sunday instead"
  • "Delete all events on Friday"

Smart dates

The assistant understands relative dates:

  • "this Monday", "next Tuesday", "this weekend"
  • "in 3 days", "2 weeks from today"
  • "tomorrow at noon"

Photos

You can send a photo of a school flyer, event poster, or activity schedule. The assistant will read it and offer to add the events to your calendar.
