Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your Park Bench account and all associated data.

What gets deleted

• Your user account and profile
• Your family profile and all children's data
• All calendar events (both manually created and synced)
• All chat conversation history
• All memory items
• Circle memberships (you'll be removed from all circles)
• Recommendation history
• Google Calendar connection (sync stops, but events already in Google stay there)

What doesn't get deleted

• Events that were already synced to your Google Calendar remain in Google
• Your Clerk authentication account (managed separately)
• Events you shared to circles may still be visible to other circle members

How to delete your account

1. Go to Settings > Settings (the gear icon)
2. Scroll to the bottom
3. Tap Delete account
4. Confirm the deletion

This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

If you're the family owner

If you're the family owner and other parents are on the account, deleting your account will affect the entire family. Consider transferring important events or information before proceeding.

Before you delete

We recommend exporting your data first if you want to keep a copy. Contact hello@parkbench.nyc to request an export.
