Leaving a circle

You can leave any circle at any time.

How to leave

1. Go to Settings > Circles
2. Tap the circle you want to leave
3. On the circle detail page, tap Leave circle
4. Confirm your choice

What happens when you leave

• You stop seeing events from that circle on your Home screen
• The circle no longer influences your Discover recommendations
• Your name is removed from the member list (if you were visible)
• Events you previously shared with the circle remain visible to other members
• You can rejoin the circle later if you change your mind

School circles

If you leave a school circle, it won't change your child's school association in your family profile. The school is still listed under your child — you're just no longer part of the community circle. To fully disconnect from a school, update your child's school in Settings > Family.

Circle owners

If you're the circle owner and want to stop the circle entirely, you can archive it instead of leaving. Archiving removes the circle for all members.
