Joining a circle

There are several ways to join circles in Park Bench.

Automatic circles

When you select a school for your child during onboarding or in Family settings, you're automatically connected to that school's circle. No extra steps needed.

Browsing and joining

1. Go to Settings > Circles
2. Tap Add a school to add a school circle
3. Or browse the Discover tab to find public circles
4. Tap Join on any circle you'd like to join
5. Choose your visibility: Visible or Anonymous

Accepting an invite

If someone invites you to a circle:

1. You'll see the invite on your Settings > Circles page under "Invitations"
2. Review the circle name, who invited you, and the member count
3. Tap Accept to join (you'll choose your visibility preference) or Decline to skip

Visibility choice

When joining any circle, you choose how you appear to other members:

• Visible — Other members can see that you're part of the circle
• Anonymous — You're a member but your name doesn't appear in the member list

You can change your visibility at any time from the circle's detail page.
