Creating a custom circle

You can create custom circles for any group of families — your kid's playgroup, a sports team, a neighborhood parent group, or anything else.

How to create a circle

1. Go to Settings > Circles
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Create a Circle
3. Enter a name for your circle
4. Add an optional description
5. Choose whether the circle is discoverable (other Park Bench users can find and join it) or private (invite-only)
6. Tap Create

You're automatically the owner of circles you create.

What you can do as the circle owner

• Edit the circle name and description
• Change discoverability settings
• Invite new members
• See the full member list
• Archive the circle (removes it for all members)

Discoverable vs. private

Discoverable circles appear in the Community section of the Circles page for all Park Bench users. Anyone can browse and join.

Private circles are invite-only. Members can only join if you send them an email invite.
